New resources: Children in Wales are releasing new resources in conjunction with Carmarthenshire County Council

Children in Wales have launched a new suite of resources in conjunction with Carmarthenshire County council as part of the Getting Ready Project. These resources are aimed at care experienced young people and professionals working with young people to help promote life skills and independence. The resources cover topics such as, Budgeting, Benefits and Entitlements, Employment, food shopping times, and keeping money, possessions and individuals safe. You can download the resources in PDF format or as Padlets. A padlet has been set up to hold all the resources in one place and is billingual. Each resource has been designed to be used on it's own if needed, to be used with some of the other resources created, or as one large pack of resources. Each resource has a number of website links included where you can find out more information about a certain area of interest. The Padlet contains a summary document where can you can find an overview of the resources and a checklist to keep track of resources accessed. You can check out the resources here.
