
Calling all new voters: Now is the perfect time to…
A new Welsh Government campaign, launched on Monday, 15 February 2021, is encouraging new groups of people resident in Wales to make their voices heard in upcoming elections.
The Getting Ready project, delivered by Children in Wales and Voices from Care Cymru, is supported by funding from the Welsh Government’s Suitable Provision and Support Innovation Fund.
In partnership with Flintshire County Council and care-experienced young people, the project aims to empower young people by enhancing their knowledge and understanding of their rights and entitlements as they prepare to leave care.
The new Flintshire Padlet provides a wealth of online resources to help care leavers transition safely from care. These include:
