Early Years Action Group Manifesto 2021
A group of leading Welsh children's charities is calling on all political parties to put the needs of babies and the youngest children at the centre of their policies for the next Senedd.
Parents Connect Wales have been asked by Welsh Government to find out some information from parents.
They would like:-
To gain a wider insight from parents/carers into what support and information they need/want in their parenting journey from birth to 18.
To understand the awareness of parenting support from Welsh Government and of positive parenting
To collect feedback from parents on the ‘Parenting. Give It Time’ campaign and website
We have designed a range of different ways that parents can give their feedback. We now need your help to reach parents and get their voices heard.
We will use the following ways:-
Online Survey
Opinion Poll
Photo Competition
User experience sessions
A short online survey:
This is a short survey in an MS Form asking parents about their experiences of parenting. This will take parents about 5-10 minutes to complete. The surveys can be found using the following links:-
Photo competition:-
We will run a competition asking parents to take a photo to capture ‘Life as a Parent’. This can include their child/ children, an object, a scene or something abstract. They will be asked to supply a short caption or title for the photo. All participants will be entered into a draw to win a £50 Amazon voucher.
Mentimeter opinion poll:-
This is a very short poll with 3 questions asking parents about their experiences of parenting
User experience and website testing Session
We have designed a short 45-minute session to be delivered to the parents that you work with. This is a user experience session that will guide parents through the ‘Parenting. Give It Time’ website and collect feedback on how they found it.
We have created all the materials you need to deliver this session and will give you support and guidance to deliver these.
