As of 15th April 2024, our team have officially moved offices and are now located in Spark, the world’s first Social Science Research Park and part of the Cardiff University Innovation Campus.
We are very excited to join the Spark community and can’t wait to work alongside many of our members and partners who already reside in the building.
Spark’s goal is to bring together public, private and third sector partners, allowing them to create and test innovative ideas that can help build a better society. The location is designed for networking and collaboration which is why we were determined to join.
It is already home to several key children's organisations, including a number of our members, so this is a great opportunity for Children in Wales to enhance our collaborative approach to creating a Wales where all children and young people have all their rights fulfilled.
Our team have enjoyed exploring the new workspace and are excited to get settled in. We believe it is the perfect place to continue our work and co-create projects alongside our members and young volunteers.
The building includes a variety of features and spaces for us to make use of, allowing us to encourage more effective face-to-face work together, to further vary our training delivery and to elevate our events. Still close to Cardiff City Centre, it is easily accessible with Cathays train station just a 10-minute walk away.
We hope our members and young volunteers will love our new home as much as our team and we look forward to introducing you all to the new space!
