Young Wales is recruiting for Young People to sign up to become Volunteers with us.
We are inviting young people to register as Young Wales Volunteers where they will then get invited to become members of a range of boards, groups and invited to attend consultations, training and residential opportunities across the year ahead.
Please find attached the bilingual recruitment advert, role descriptions and sign up details. We would appreciate it if you could share with any colleagues or young people you work who might be interested in signing up.
We are also delighted to confirm that the first induction residential of 4 we will be offering this year will be at Gilwern Residential Centre in Monmouthshire on 29th April to 1st May. Capacity will be limited to approximately 50 young people from across Wales in person at the residential. However, we will be offering a separate online induction session the following week for any young people unable to attend the residential. Young Wales will cover the costs for the residential inclusive of accommodation and food and can support with transport costs or needs as required. (We will ask about the young people’s preference to attend the induction in person or separate session online on the registration form.)
If you would like further information of if there are any other barriers for participation please get in touch with: volunteer@childreninwales.org.uk and we will be happy to explore how we might be able to support further.
