Children in Wales have have been facilitating a Peer research project made up of young people from across South Wales. They researched the question:
“Sustainability and the cost of living a sustainable life. What things get in the way of young people being eco-friendly in Wales?
They have written a report about their findings which will be launched at an event on Friday 14th march 2025 between 10.30am and 1.30pm at SPARK, in Cardiff.
The youth-led event will involve children and young people and professionals involved in the children's workforce, environmental organisations and researchers in the field.
The event will give the Peer Researchers a platform from which to launch their findings and recommendations. They will showcase their training as youth-led trainers of other youth-led projects and share their experience of being involved as youth -led researchers. The event will also provide an opportunity to launch Children in Wales’ new Strategy and look to the future.
Lunch will be provided.
