The NHS Putting Things Right procedure in Wales gives patients a way to raise concerns about healthcare services. Now, Children in Wales are working in collaboration with Welsh Government to revise this procedure - making it more accessible for children and young people.
Under 25 and had a positive or negative experience with the NHS? We want to hear from you! Your feedback will help us develop new guidance and resources designed specifically for children and young people who want to make a complaint.
Some of the core aims of the project are:
- To simplify language, reduce words and make information concise and clear so it is accessible to children and young people throughout any guidance and resources that are developed.
- To develop a resource tailored specifically for children and young people co-produced by children and young people, featuring age-appropriate language, engaging visuals and a simplified format.
- To raise awareness amongst children and young people of the complaints system and process utilising the new resource and or guidance.
