Digital Safeguarding / Online Safety

A half-day course Working practices have changed significantly since the start of the Coronavirus pandemic. There has been a huge shift towards online delivery of services. Organisations reacted as quickly as possible to these changes, but we need to ensure that interactions in the online world take place as safely as possible. This training session is aimed at addressing the gap in understanding around digital safeguarding. It is imperative that practitioners and the young people we work with are equipped with the tools and skills to effectively, confidently and safely work with children and young people online. The sessions will increase knowledge and understanding amongst professionals and reduce risks for children and young people when engaging online with service providers. The training will be relevant for practitioners across a wide range of service areas who want to ensure that their online involvement with children and young people is carried out safely.
